ABOUT PDO THREAD LIFT?

Thread lift procedure is a minimally invasive alternative to facelift surgery. Thread lifts can tighten your skin by inserting medical-grade thread material into your face and “pulling” your skin up by tightening the thread. PDO Threads are a minimally invasive treatment to help loose and sagging skin. They are absorbable surgical sutures composed of polydioxanone. These sutures have been used in cardiac surgeries for the past 60 years or more, and are the safest materials to be implanted in the body.

PDO Threads are fully absorbable!  During the 4 to 6 months needed to fully absorb the PDO suture, your skin is also repairing itself around it. This process, called “controlled healing” creates new collagen naturally.

SAFETY

Thread lifts are considered a low-risk procedure with minimal recovery time, but the side effects of redness, bruising, swelling do occur.

CONVENIENCE

This procedure can be performed in about 45 minutes, and, if you want, you can go right back to work afterward. Dang Aesthetics is a fully trained and a licensed provider to giving you lasting results.

THE PDO THREAD PROCEDURE

During the treatment, a preloaded cannula is inserted into the skin. Your injector then leaves the thread beneath the skin when she removes the cannula. Your skin gently reacts to the threads and begins repairing itself around the suture. The threads can be expertly placed to stimulate collagen in areas of volume loss or to fill a fold, and also can be placed to pull and tighten the skin, such as that of the neck or brows. Over the next 4-6 months, your skin fully absorbs the threads. The threads will not leave behind scar tissue.
